What is this place all about? If you call Ethos your home and would like to take the next step in a partnership with us, or would simply like to learn more about what we’re all about, we would like to invite you to attend the next Connecting Point on Sundays, July 26 and August 2. In this two week luncheon, you will explore the in’s and out’s of the church, meet the pastors, learn about the different ministries, discover ways to get involved, and capture the overall vision that God has for us at City Church.
Please sign up on the back of your Q card this Sunday or click here for more information. Childcare is provided upon request.
Fun In The Sunshine for Summertime! Join us on Sunday, July 19th, immediately following Ethos, we will be going to River Park on Amnicola Hwy. for a few hours of fun and relaxation. Bring your lunch, chairs, and blankets…we’ll provide the drinks!! We can’t wait to see you there!!! If it is raining, Ethos at the Park will be cancelled.
Do you think you would want to lead one of our small groups? It’s a great way to connect with people around you and get to know people you see at Ethos better as well as go deeper in discussion on sermon series or do life with people that are N2 what you are N2. We only have two Sundays left to sign up to be a small group leader for our next session that will begin August 9th. If you have led in the past and would like to lead again or if you would like more information on being a new small group leader, sign up on the back of your Q card this Sunday or click here to get more information today. Groups are themed by sermon discussion or by activities. Please email us to let us know you’re interested and we will help you with all the details. There is a new leader orientation on Thursday night, July 16.

“The Church has left the building” is an innovative church-wide effort to make a hands-on difference in our local community. On Sunday, July 12, we will be canceling our regular worship services and the entire congregation will engage in service projects (from 8:00am to 1pm) in and with our local community. Afterward, the day will culminate with a great “Celebration Service” in the Central Auditorium at 6:30pm.

Many people see their lives playing out like a movie they cannot control - spectators who can do nothing to stop the consequences. Next Sunday, June 7 Shannon Chapman will begin our summer series, Simple Questions, to show how God has given each of us a will. We will explore how our wills, surrendered to God, can change our lives forever. Hope to see you there as we begin the journey of Simple Questions; invite a friend to join you for this next series.
